Lance Phillips is a Partner in the Digital Media and Music Groups.
Lance’s practice focuses primarily on digital, online and mobile exploitation of content; music in the interactive and technology start-up sectors; interactive software/applications, software and content licensing; digital distribution, branding, merchandising and sponsorship; image and intellectual property rights and advising on music rights’ acquisition, licensing and use.
Lance acts for established recording artists, new acts, technology start-ups, advertising agencies, digital providers and platforms within the music, media and digital/interactive sectors.
Lance is also developing a leading practice in the Educational Technology and Social Entrepreneurship sectors and represents a number of EdTech companies and social enterprises (from start-up to fully fledged entities).
Lance acts a consultant/advisor to both UnLtd and Entrepreneurship Institute of King’s College London. He is also a regular public speaker at a number of high-profile events and seminars, including those organised by the MMF, FAC, MPA, PRS and Westminster Forum Projects.
