“Joost de Boo is the co-founder of the Thunderboom Records Foundation. Joost is a Dutch interdisciplinary designer, researcher and educator specialised in emerging technology and pop culture.

Joost is also working as a lecturer in design research at the Communication & Multimedia Design departement at the Avans University in Den Bosch, The Netherlands.

Prior to founding Thunderboom Records, Joost worked as a designer and entrepreneur in both the music, design and tech industry. At companies such the Primephonic (classical music streaming, Amsterdam) and Bruce Mau Design (strategic design studio, Toronto).

Joost holds a MFA in Design Research from the Willem de Kooning Academy, as well as a BFA in Graphic Design from Utrecht School of the Arts.”
