The FMF Experience
Spanish tech & music investment
Wayra, Telefónica’s open innovation hub, invested a total of 4.5 million euros in 39 startups in Europe and Latin America. Out of that global amount, 1.8 million euros were invested in 15 startups in Spain, 29% more than in the previous year. The projects are related to artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, video, virtual reality, cybersecurity, connectivity, data analytics and fintech.
Wayra X, Telefónica’s 100% remote investment fund, last year announced its participation in the $3 million round of Gimme Radio, a New York-based social audio startup. The investment has been closed alongside Sony and iHeartMedia, two of the leaders in the US music industry.
In this session we will explore the music & tech investment scene with a select panel of industry leaders curated by Wayra
