The FMF Experience
The distribution contribution – improving the ways distro helps artists
In this session we will explore two main areas of music distribution.
The vertical. We will explore the added services that one can stack onto the core business of getting sound recordings into stores and then transferring payment to rights holders & advise on new developments on the various platforms. Rights management, sync will also be explored.
The horizontal. Here we will touch upon the differences we as distros see in the various markets, where things stand in different parts of the world, what are the main issues/ paths to success.
